Why photography?
“My interest in photography began in high school when my dad let me borrow his camera. I’ve always loved how much freedom a camera granted me. Photography allows me to channel my creativity, and it serves as a form of expression. Most importantly, photography is vision, open-mindedness, and possibility. It serves as a way for you to connect with others and to see the world from another perspective.”

Why photography?
“I remember when I first discovered my family’s photo albums. I carried the heavy book with me over to my bed and started flipping through the pages. I would always feel so much emotion looking at the pictures as I grew older. After viewing so many of them, I began to understand the significance and power photography has. Time slips by faster than we know it, but photography offers you an opportunity to stop time and reminisce past memories.”
